HARRISBURG, PA − January 20, 2026 − Today, Senator Patty Kim (D-15) announced the award of $3,880,734 million in grant funding to 10 projects across Senate District 15 to upgrade municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater systems, and make transportation improvements to enhance safety and economic development. Funds were awarded through the Commonwealth Financing Authority.
“These critical investments reflect my continued commitment to deliver resources that improve safety, infrastructure, and the economy throughout the 15th District,” said Senator Patty Kim. “Working collectively with the Dauphin County House delegation in a bipartisan manner, we’ve been able to secure funding for every project that submitted a grant application in our district. I’m honored to help deliver these vital improvements to our communities and am proud to partner with my house colleagues and our municipal leaders to strengthen our district.”
The following projects in SD15 received $2,687,984 in grant funding through the CFA Multimodal Transportation Fund:
- City of Harrisburg – Herr Street Protected Bike Lane – $440,829
- LC Reserve Five, LLC – Swatara Exchange Improvements – $751,921
The following projects in SD15 received $1,192,750 million in grant funding through the PA Small Water and Sewer Program:
- Lower Paxton Township – Colonial Park Drainage Improvements – $500,000
- Dauphin Borough – Wastewater Efficiency and Reliability Enhancement Project – $290,000
- Penbrook Borough – Ferndale Sewer and Stormwater Improvements – $286,785
- Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority – HIA WWTP Headworks Renovations & SCADA System Upgrade – $374,229
- Lower Paxton Township Authority – Wilshire Road Low-Pressure Sewer Extension – $335,050
- Lower Swatara Township Municipal Authority – Stoner Drive Culvert Replacement – $301,388
- Capital Region Water – South Progress Avenue Watermain Extension – $500,000
- Borough of Paxtang – Repairs and upgrades to the Paxtang Borough sanitary and storm sewer system – $100,532
