HARRISBURG, PA March 12, 2026 − Senator Patty Kim (D-Dauphin) announced that $661,199 in funding from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) has been awarded to organizations and initiatives in the 15th District (Lower Dauphin County).

“I’m grateful for PCCD grants that support the important work happening throughout Dauphin County,” said Senator Kim. “The organizations receiving this funding are doing critical work in our communities. Now more than ever, investments that strengthen the safety and security of their facilities are necessary so no one has to choose between doing good work and staying safe.”

The following organizations will receive funding:

  • Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association (PCPA) received $30,000 in Federal STOP Violence Against Women Formula Grant Program funds for PCPA LE Training.
  • Dauphin County received $100,253 in FY 2025-26 Indigent Defense Grant Program Funds.

The following organizations received funding from the Nonprofit Security Grant Program for safety and security upgrades:

  • Al-Huda, Inc. received $150,000.
  • Bethel AME Church received $24,800.
  • CAST – Philadelphia received $20,000.
  • Cathedral Parish of St. Patrick received $28,296.
  • Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Harrisburg received $75,000.
  • Chinese for Affirmative Action (CAA) received $25,000.
  • Congregation Chisuk Emuna of Harrisburg, PA received $25,000.
  • Islamic Center Masjid Al-Sabereen received $74,000.
  • Kesher Israel Congregation of Harrisburg received $25,000.
  • St. Francis of Assisi Parish received $33,850.
  • Temple Ohev Sholom received $25,000.
  • The Rabbi David L. Silver Yeshiva Academy received $25,000.
