Harrisburg, PA – July 16, 2026 – Today, Senator Patty Kim announced $14,500,000 of state Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grant funding to support major infrastructure and community projects in the 15th Senatorial District. The funding will help drive economic growth and improve public resources through key investments in local economic development, education, recreation, and municipal services.
“These grants will provide much-needed financial support for projects that will spur jobs, economic growth and community revitalization,” said Senator Kim, “This support will assist with upgrades to facilities and expansion of community assets that will enhance regional economic, cultural, civic and recreational amenities. I want to thank the Shapiro Administration and all local leaders, project teams, and community members who contributed to these successful RACP grant applications.”
Eligible RACP grantees include local governments and counties, public authorities, Local Development Districts, and industrial development agencies.
The following grantees in the 15th Senatorial District received funding through RACP grants:
- Harristown Development Corporation received $2,000,000 for the 333 Market Tower Revitalization project.
- Swatara Township Board of Commissioners received $500,000 for the Bishop Park Phase II Development project.
- Bow Creek Hospitality, LLC received $750,000 for transformation of the exterior of an aging hotel property.
- Remarc Properties, LLC received $500,000 for the Cramer Long Term Parking Facility project.
- The City of Harrisburg received $2,250,000 for the rebuilding and renovation of the Broad Street Market.
- The Christian School Association of Greater Harrisburg received $1,000,000 for the Harrisburg Christian School Renovation project.
- The City of Harrisburg received $500,000 for the MLK Building ADA Improvements project.
- The McClure Company received $4,000,000 for the McClure Company Expansion project.
- Mountainview Thoroughbred Racing Association, LLC received $3,000,000 for the Penn National Entertainment Complex project.
