HARRISBURG, PAJune 12, 2025 − State Senator Patty Kim has been selected as one of eight recipients of the 2025 Pennsylvania PBS Good Neighbor Award which recognize individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to public broadcasting and educational programming that serves communities across the Commonwealth. 

Senator Kim was recognized as a Champion of Lifelong Learning for her active role in education, serving aging neighbors and her community.

“I am honored to receive such meaningful recognition in the Good Neighbor Award from Pennsylvania PBS,” said Senator Patty Kim. “Throughout my career, from representing the 103rd House District to the 15thSenatorial District, I’ve seen firsthand what good neighboring looks like. I have been deeply influenced and inspired watching our community come together time and again to support and care for one another. I truly believe being a good neighbor remains one of the most powerful acts toward building stronger communities and receiving this honor reinforces my commitment to championing policies that support community building and connection.”
